I found this dress at boutique bridal shop in SoHo (New York City) after having searched high and low from high-end retailers to discount bridal stores. I first fell in love with the delicate layers of silk organza. It was romantic, refined and classic, yet the ever-so-slightly unfinished edges spoke to the free-spirited side of my personality. Next, I loved the long row of silk buttons in the back and gorgeous train. The official color is ivory, but it is a clean and soft shade of ivory. The neckline is a slight sweetheart (which can be altered if you prefer a traditional sweetheart.) My husband was delighted and I received so many compliments from our guests on the dress specifically. It really was truly stunning and incredibly flattering. I wore this dress for four hours at the reception as I wore a different dress for our multicultural ceremony.

I've had just a few alterations which I've fully detailed in the Alterations section. When I went to pick up my dress at the seamstress, I mistakenly walked over to another dress that looked just like it. It was a Vera Wang! Even the seamstress was shocked at how similar they were.

I am selling the dress because I lost my job 6 months ago and I hope you consider it for your wedding day!
